More Reviews about Rimba & Rusa
Rimba & Rusa is an attention-grabber for multiple reasons. This two-level venue is beautiful, blessed with a big-budget polish that’s certain to be catnip for the Klang Valley’s cafe paparazzi. It also boasts possibly the best Malay-language equivalent of a hipster moniker. And fortunately, it also offers an appealing menu, crafted by the veteran talents of the Wondermilk cafe chain.

For things to try, we like the look of La Pli Plu (French toast made with house made brioche topped with caramelised streaky beef), grilled glazed ribs with pickled watermelon and cous cous, soft shell crab linguine and English bread and butter pudding topped with a scoop of Haagen-Dazs ice cream, served on quirky Rimba & Rusa polka dotted plates. Parents, bring your tots to the second floor for the Publika Wondermilk-lookalike play area, plus there’s a kids menu too.

Overall Rating: 7.5/10. My meal was rather satisfying and the ambiance was a clear winner. Having said that, I found myself forking out a little more than what my wallet would have expected.

Overall, this is a place that I would come again for their environment and probably to try their lunch menu! The place is just so pretty and the breakfast was okay but coming in the morning, you don’t really have much choices so I will suggest to come during lunch time or at night. This is also a really cool place for chilling and selfies cuz they’ve got great lighting and just so pretty background la. 😀

Both family and friends. It’s light-heartedly decorated with a comfy and cozy atmosphere. It’s homey vibe makes it a casual and relaxed kickback spot to just grab some good grub. Not to mention that it’s spacious enough for large groups with an outer area and a second floor. Kids are welcome too with a specialized menu and a designated play area upstairs.

So, here I am, paying a visit to Ziffy again, a month later. I figured, if the food is delicious, then it is worth being given another chance. At the same time, hope that its shortcomings has been dealt with. Was it dealt with? Yess ! My biggest issue with Ziffy was their serving time and happy to say that that issue has been resolved. Yay! Food arrived pretty fast – it arrived within 5-8 minutes from one another, which is awesome because then everyone at the table can eat together. If you read my previous experience ( Visit 1) , that was not the case. In Visit 1, The arrival time between one dish to another was at least 10 minutes – which meant the person that ordered the first dish gets to eat first while the rest of the people at the table wait and watches and the pattern repeats, which sucked epicly. Now though, food arrives fast and everyone at the table can enjoy their meal together. Awesome!

Most of us, when we wish to “escape†the world for a bit, would put on headphones or earphones and zone out to our favourite tracks. Music is after all a therapy for the mind and soul, and a café in Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara is having music as their main attraction.
Stars Picker Audio is a headphone concept café and they have plenty of headphones and audio devices that one can use while they’re dining in the eatery. Stars Picker Audio recently relaunched and they’re introducing a new menu including meals like waffles, coffee, affogato and more.
Once inside the shop lot, there’s cozy ambiance to make one feel all relaxed and try out all the various headphones and headamps in stock and on demo. Believe me when I tell you that they practically have all the major brands like JVC, Sony, Sennheiser & Chord and some house brands such as Audeze & Hifiman in stock.
